Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day: December 21st

December 21st marks the National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day, a chance to reflect on those who lost their lives while homeless in the past year. It’s also a moment where we can all remember the hardships that the homeless face, and the uphill battle they face regaining housing and self-sufficiency.

For additional information on the event, please contact Development Coordinator Joshua Myers at myersj@projecthopecamden.orgProject H.O.P.E. is observing this day with a remembrence event at our Bergen-Lanning Health Center on 439 Clinton Street. Running from 3pm to 4:30, this is a great opportunity to bring together friends, family, community members, and loved ones to remember those who faced homelessness over the year in 2011, and a moment of silence for those who passed away.
